departamento de Calingasta, provincia de San Juan, aproximadamente a unos 310 km de la ciudad capital. En el \u00e1rea se han realizado mapeos geol\u00f3gicos de detalle, estudios geof\u00edsicos y geoqu\u00edmica de superficie.<\/h6>\n<h6>El proyecto corresponde a un dep\u00f3sito tipo skarn, donde la mineralizaci\u00f3n forma una faja elongada en direcci\u00f3n noroeste-sureste y est\u00e1 alojada en el contacto de secuencias calc\u00e1reas y unidades gran\u00edticas. The property is part of the north-south belt of porphyry copper mineralization that includes Pach\u00f3n-Los Pelambres, Altar-Piuquenes and Los Azules.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>The area was explored by Argentina Minera S. A. (2006-2017) and, since 2018, by the company Argentina Fortescue S. A. U. Detailed geologic mapping, geophysical studies, and surface geochemistry have been carried out in the area.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>The project covers skarn-type mineralization in a northwest-southeast elongated belt at the contact between calcareous rock sequences and granitic units.
