proyecto minero de San Francisco de Los Andes. Se ubican en el margen oriental de la provincia geol\u00f3gica de Cordillera Frontal, en el departamento de Calingasta. Estas concesiones mineras se encuentran a 150 km al noroeste de la ciudad de San Juan.<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kuy1kcmh-f5af56b698ede60d6753c0d17b7891a4 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h5>La hist\u00f3rica mina de San Francisco de Los Andes comenz\u00f3 los trabajos de extracci\u00f3n en los a\u00f1os \u201840 como una mina de bismuto y en la d\u00e9cada de los \u201970 se trabaj\u00f3 sobre la explotaci\u00f3n y producci\u00f3n de cobre y bismuto. En los a\u00f1os \u201890 Minera Aguilar realiz\u00f3 trabajos de exploraci\u00f3n con sondajes obteniendo resultados promisorios.<br \/>\nEn el 2019, Aurora Mining comenz\u00f3 con los trabajos de exploraci\u00f3n confirmando resultados de los trabajos anteriores e identificando nuevos blancos prospectivos y continuidad de la mineralizaci\u00f3n. El proyecto Santa B\u00e1rbara se relaciona a cuerpos de brechas de turmalina-cuarzo y vetas de cuarzo intru\u00eddos preferentemente en roca de caja sedimentaria de edad Carbon\u00edfera. La g\u00e9nesis de estos cuerpos de brecha se vinculan con intrusiones gran\u00edticas-granodior\u00edticas que integran el batolito de Tocota pertenecientes al P\u00e9rmico. Los elementos met\u00e1licos a explorar son oro, plata, cobre y metales de base, mientras que los pathfinders son el ars\u00e9nico, bismuto y antimonio.<\/h5>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-m4tywx1o-f98e853e4b80a6440058665038918a42 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>English Version<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>The Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara 1 and Santa Barbara 2 properties are considered to be related with the San Francisco de Los Andes mining project. They are located on the eastern margin of the geologic province of Cordillera Frontal, in the department of Calingasta. These mining concessions are located 150 km northwest of the city of San Juan.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>The historic San Francisco de Los Andes mine initiatedproduction in the 1940s as a bismuth mine.In the 1970s, work was focused on production of copper and bismuth. In the &#8217;90s, Minera Aguilar drilled the area with promising results.In 2019, Aurora Mining conducted exploration work that confirmed previous results indicating continuity of mineralizationand identified new prospective targets.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>The Santa Barbara project is associated with tourmaline-quartz breccia bodies and quartz veins preferentially intruding Carboniferous sedimentary host rocks. The genesis of these breccia bodies is linked to granite-granodiorite intrusions that are part of the Permian-agedTocota batholith.
