English Version
The Vanesa I and II project is located in the high mountains of San Juan, on the western margin of the geological province of Cordillera Frontal, in the department of Calingasta, near Pachón, Amos-Andrés, Cerro Yunque, and Los Pelambres mine (Chile). It is approximately 330 km from the city of San Juan.
The area was explored by Minera Anglo American S.A. (2011-2013) and since 2019, by Argentina Fortescue S.A.U. Regional and detailed geological mapping, surface geochemistry and 3,610 meters of drilling distributed in 6 drill holes, have been carried out in the area.
Vanesa I and II corresponds to a Cu-Mo +/- Au porphyry-type deposit, hosted in Triassic volcanic sequences, intruded by pre-mineral, inter-mineral, and post-mineral subvolcanic bodies assigned to the Miocene and emplaced in a northwest structural trend.
